Using the Name
Consistency in how we refer to the university helps strengthen and protect the USAO brand. When referring to the university in official communications, marketing materials, publications or digital content, use one of the following approved names:
The University of Science & Arts of Oklahoma
or
USAO
The ampersand (&) is an official and required part of the university’s name. Always write University of Science & Arts of Oklahoma — never University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma.
Do not shorten, rearrange or modify the university’s name. References such as “Science & Arts,” “Science & Arts of Oklahoma,” “University of Science & Arts,” or other variations should not be used.
After the full university name has been established, USAO may be used throughout the remainder of the communication.
